Fitness | My Progress

I struggled for a long time to find a workout I enjoyed doing.  All throughout high school, I danced and cheered and after I started college, I fell into a rut.  I yo-yo dieted, lost and gained weight, and wasn't healthy.  After a break down on New Year's Eve 2010, my boyfriend and I decided to buy P90X and give it a try.  I was at my heaviest weight ever at the time I bought P90X.  I'm not going to lie... it was a TOUGH workout.  Tony Horton really doesn't mess around.  While doing P90X I learned how to eat healthy and I realized that nutrition really plays a HUGE role in what your body looks like.  I stopped drinking soda, I cut down on alcohol, I cut out fast food and heavily processed foods.  The body fat was dropping and I was starting to see some muscle definition!  I was hooked to working out and Beachbody.  A couple of months after we completed P90X, we made the move cross country to Colorado and we both fell off the working out and eating healthy train.  After gaining some weight back and losing our muscle tone, we both decided to get back on board for good!  I'm currently doing Les Mills Body Combat + Brazil Butt Lift and having great results!!  Below are photos from Day 1 of P90X in January 2011 and my current photos in February 2013.
